Dr. Haluk Alibazoglu is a staff physician in Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine at the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is American Board certified in both specialties and has performed over 50,000 myocardial perfusion imaging studies. He earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the same institution. He went on to earn a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his Nuclear Medicine residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, followed by a fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology at the same institution. His interests include myocardial absolute flow quantification, medical simulators, and flight simulation.
