Dr. Oktay Irkorucu is a highly accomplished surgeon with a Ph.D. in General Surgery and advanced post-doctoral training in Surgical Oncology from Turkey. He also holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the European Board of Surgery, and the Turkish Board of Surgery (in both General Surgery and Surgical Oncology), Dr. Irkorucu brings an impressive blend of expertise and dedication to his field.

With over 22 years of medical experience, he has spent more than a decade leading a general surgery and surgical oncology clinic in Turkey. He is a full professor at Istanbul Health Sciences University Medical College, where he continues to contribute to medical education and research.

Dr. Irkorucu’s clinical interests cover a wide range of surgical specialties, including breast and endocrine surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC, pelvic and perianal surgery, hernia repair, and surgical endoscopy. He is adept at treating complex conditions such as breast cancer, thyroid and parathyroid diseases, gastric and pancreatic cancers, colorectal cancer, ulcerative colitis, liver metastases, and ovarian cancer.
