Dr. Umut Dalanay is a German Board-certified Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of professional experience. He offers psychiatric treatment and psychotherapy in English, German, and Turkish. Dr. Dalanay completed his psychiatric training at the University Clinic of Charite Berlin, where he was involved in both psychiatric care and research. His dissertation focused on using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study the alterations in brain activity in patients with manic and depressive disorders. In addition to his research, Dr. Dalanay worked for nearly 10 years in the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic of Charite in St. Hedwig Hospital, providing high-quality psychiatric care to a diverse group of patients. After completing his psychiatric training, he pursued a fellowship in aviation medicine and sexual medicine. Before joining GNC Dubai, Dr. Dalanay worked as a medical assessor for the Civil Aviation Authority of Germany (LBA). As a psychotherapist, Dr. Dalanay has a deep understanding of the underlying causes of psychiatric disorders. He uses a personalized approach to provide confidential and effective treatment for a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety and panic disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and social phobia. He also has expertise in treating sexual health issues, such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and loss of sexual interest.
